Darren Chester urges Gippslanders to access vital government services via the Mobile Service Centre visiting six towns
Mobile Service Centre Blue Gum will visit six Gippsland towns, providing locals with access to Centrelink, Medicare, NDIS, and veterans' services, especially for those lacking nearby government offices.
Mobile Service Centres bring a comprehensive range of essential government services to residents who lack access to a local Services Australia office, according to Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester.
Services Australia's Mobile Service Centre will visit Rosedale, Heyfield, Loch Sport, Briagolong, Omeo and Bruthen from June 26 to July 3, offering government services locally

Mr Chester is encouraging Gippslanders to take advantage of Services Australia's Mobile Service Centre Blue Gum in next weeks , which will be in:
- Rosedale
- Loch Sport
- Briagolong
- Heyfield
- Bruthen
- Omeo
Services Australia's Mobile Service Centre will visit Rosedale, Heyfield, Loch Sport, Briagolong, Omeo and Bruthen from June 26 to July 3, offering government services locally, offering locals the important opportunity to access Centrelink, Medicare, NDIS, and Department of Veterans' Affairs services.
Mobile services support
Mr Chester said, "The Mobile Service Centre offers assistance to rural families, older Australians, students, job seekers, people with disabilities, carers, farmers, and self-employed individuals. It's also a valuable chance to learn about government payments and services you might qualify for."
"The friendly and professional Mobile Service Centre staff can help you with Centrelink and Medicare matters, such as creating a myGov account, applying for new payments, updating your information, and more. If you are a veteran or a family member of one, you can also get information and support from the Department of Veterans' Affairs," Mr Chester said.
Support rolling in
Services Australia's Mobile Service Centre will be in Rosedale, adjacent to the Rosedale Neighbourhood House, on Cansick Street from 9:30am until 4pm on Thursday, June 26, and in Heyfield, near the Community Hall on MacFarlane Street, from 9am until 4pm on Friday, June, 27.
The Mobile Service Centre will then be in Loch Sport, near the supermarket on:
- Lake Street - 9:30am until 4pm on Monday, June 30
- Briagolong, near Briagolong Community House on Avon Street - 9am until 2pm on Tuesday, July 1
- Omeo, in front of the courthouse on Day Avenue - 9am until 4pm on Wednesday July 2
- Bruthen, near the Mechanics Hall on Main Street - 9:30 am until 2:30 pm on Thursday, July 3
