Announcement of Rowenna Dunn as new manager of West Gippsland Arts Centre.
Baw Baw Shire Council is delighted to announce the appointment of Rowenna Dunn who spent more than a decade working with one of the world's leading live entertainment brands, as Manager of the West Gippsland Arts Centre.

Vast experience as a manager
Ms Rowenna Dunn, a Warragul native, toured the world with Cirque du Soleil working as a Public Relations Manager for 10+ years, where she gained vast experience in a very fast-paced environment.
Travelling to a new place every two months, and working in some of the biggest and most exciting cities in the world, encouraged a new appreciation and passion for culture, travel, diversity, live entertainment.
Refined leadership
Ms Dunn's strong background in live entertainment is also supported by six years in the performing arts industry working in various roles at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre and with the Marriner Theatre Group in Melbourne.
More recently, as a General Manager in a corporate environment, Rowenna refined her leadership style to develop and mentor employees, focussing on team dynamics, customer service and delivery of commercial objectives.
Innovative and dynamic style
Mark Dupe, Chief Executive Officer said, "With nearly 20 years' experience in the performing arts and live entertainment field both here and overseas, Rowenna will bring her innovative and dynamic leadership style to the WGAC."
"We are very excited about attracting someone with such a strong background in performing arts, customer service and building teams and the fact that she grew up in Warragul gives her a unique understanding of this region and the local arts community."

Mark Kestigian, Director Economic Development, Arts and Advocacy said, "We are very fortunate to find someone with Rowenna's broad range of skills and capabilities who will help us further enhance our own brand in the arts, entertainment and events' spaces in Baw Baw Shire and beyond."
