Latrobe City Council seeks community feedback on Moe CBD to shape its 15-year vision and future plans until 31 January 2025
Latrobe City Council invites feedback on Moe CBD to shape the 15-year Moe Activity Centre Plan. Share experiences via an online map, survey, or community listening posts by January 31, 2025.
Latrobe City Council is inviting the community to share their experience of the Moe CBD. The feedback received will influence the Moe Activity Centre Plan which sets the vision for how the community wants the Moe CBD to look and feel over the next 15 years. Participants can share where they have had good experiences or noticed issues whilst in the Moe CBD through an online map where they can pin locations, share photos and comments.
Moe's CBD is undergoing strategic planning for future development, focusing on growth, improved infrastructure, and enhanced community spaces. This initiative aims to foster economic vitality and improve the area's livability

An online survey is also available to complete which provides details on how community members access the centre of town, how they feel about the CBD and the reasons for their visits. A range of community listening posts are planned across Moe during December and January along with a workshop on 10 December online and at the Moe Town Hall for those who are unable to join online.
Latrobe City Council's Chief Executive Officer Steven Piasente said it was important that the community had an opportunity to share their views for the future of Moe. "Council wants to ensure that any plans for the Moe CBD are reflective of the aspirations and needs of the local community. By providing your feedback we can note common themes in responses and identify opportunities that should be included in the Moe Activity Centre Plan," said Mr Piasente.
Community members can access the online map and survey through council's engagement platform, Have Your Say Latrobe City website. Feedback will be accepted until 5.00pm Friday 31 January 2025.
