Petitions
Petition to Implement Full Fencing around Civic Park Warragul main playground area
Council received and noted the petition, which was signed by 185 residents. Officers will now prepare a report in response to the petition, which will be tabled at a future council meeting.
Planning and development
C154bawb - Baw Baw Economic Land Use Strategy Planning Scheme Amendment
Council moved to progress to the next steps of implementing the actions of the Baw Baw Economic Land Use Strategy, which will be carried out by preparing an amendment to the Baw Baw Planning Scheme.
Governance and information
Review of Council's Advisory Committees and Advisory Committee Policy
Council adopted the revised Advisory Committees and Advisory Committee Policy, and resolved to continue four of its Advisory Committees, while rescinding two others.
Council Support & Expense Policy and Councillor Gift Policy
Council moved an alternate motion to defer this item to the 26 March 2025 Council Meeting, which was passed unanimously.
Internal Resolution Procedure
Council raised an amendment motion to add definitions to the flowchart within the Internal Resolution Procedure, which was passed unanimously.
Council meetings schedule
Baw Baw Shire Council's Council Meetings are open to the public and are held at the West Gippsland Arts Centre. Council Meetings will commence at 5:30pm on the second Wednesday of the month, and 1:00pm on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
All council meetings will be live-streamed, and archived recordings will be available on the council website for viewing. The agenda for the next meeting will be available online the Friday prior to the meeting.
