Speaker enforces rules
Mr Chester said, "As Presiding Officer, the Speaker chairs the meetings of the House of Representatives and ensures they are conducted in an orderly manner and according to the provisions of the Constitution and the standing orders, which are the written rules of the House."
"So, in simpler terms, Speaker Milton Dick is basically the umpire of proceedings, and he enforces the rules. He's an excellent Speaker and a personal friend of mine, and I'm looking forward to hosting his visit," he said.
