Nicholson Primary School students get chance to discuss Parliament while receiving certificates from Darren Chester
This week, Darren Chester, Federal Member for Gippsland, visited Nicholson Primary School's Year 5/6 students to discuss the Gippsland electorate, Parliament, and his role, presenting achievement certificates afterward.
This week, Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester visited Year 5/6 students at Nicholson Primary School to discuss the Gippsland electorate, how the Federal Parliament works, and his role in Canberra and the local community.

Inspiring future leaders
Mr Chester said, "It's always great explaining my job and hearing from some of Gippsland's leaders of the future. The Nicholson Primary students were eager to learn about my role as a parliamentarian and had plenty of good questions for me."
"After discussions, Mr Chester presented 2024 school leaders with their achievement certificates. To all students, teachers, and staff, keep up the great work," Mr Chester said.
