Feedback wanted on Draft Building Asset Management Plan 2023-2033 from Bass Coast Shire Council by 4 May 2023
The Draft Building Asset Management Plan 2023-2033 by Bass Coast Shire Council is open for public feedback until May 4, as part of their infrastructure management commitment.
Bass Coast Shire Council is pleased to announce that the Draft Building Asset Management Plan 2023-2033 is available for public consultation. The Building Asset Management Plan is one of four key Asset Management Plans that inform council's 10-year Asset Plan and Long-Term Financial Plan. Council invites the community to review the plan and provide feedback by 4 May at Building Asset Management Plan 2023-33 page. Feedback will be considered and implemented into a final draft which will be presented at the May council meeting for adoption.

Infrastructure plan commitment
Bass Coast Shire Council is committed to the responsible management of its infrastructure assets, and the Draft Building Asset Management Plan 2023-2033 demonstrates that commitment. This proposed plan provides a roadmap for the responsible management of council's buildings over the next ten years.
"We take the management of our buildings very seriously, and this plan is the result of months of hard work and industry-leading rigour. We now invite our stakeholders and community into consultation, to provide feedback on the first draft of the Building Asset Management Plan 2023-2033."
"We are confident that this proposed plan will enable us to continue to provide high-quality services to our community while ensuring that our infrastructure assets are managed in a responsible and sustainable manner. We look forward to community comments," said Mayor Cr Michael Whelan.
