'Shop local' and support small businesses to keep our Gippsland economy and community thriving
Importance of buying locally made products is that it helps the small businesses thrive.
Did you know that Australia is home to over 3.5 million small businesses? Just like this one here, the Warragul Flower Shop. Small businesses play a big role in Gippsland - they're the backbone of our country towns. It's a small business that keeps our economy and communities thriving.
When you shop locally, you support locals
Supporting small businesses
That's why it's so important to support the businesses who help make Monash such a prosperous place to live, work and visit. Whether it's buying fresh produce from your local farmer's market, a visit to your community pharmacy, or specialised handmade goods from a small business near you.
Showing your support is so important - either purchasing directly from the store or online, or even giving them a 'like' on social media. These successful businesses are proof that small steps make a huge difference. So get out there, shop local, and see what your community has to offer. That's just as I see it.
