Assist local organisations

Mr Chester said, "This funding is designed to assist organisations to ensure they can continue to provide for and support the community safely and appropriately."

Mr Chester said local organisations can apply for grants of between $1,000 and $5,000. "These grants can help pay for equipment, reimburse fuel costs, expenses associated with training and transport or for promoting awareness and increasing participation in volunteering."

"Volunteers are the lifeblood of our community and by continuing to help each other and work together, we are building a stronger and safer Gippsland." Mr Chester said.

Expression of interest submission

Interested organisations must submit an EOI to be considered for a grant. Expressions of Interest must be submitted by 5pm, Friday September 23, 2022. Successful applicants will then be invited to complete a full submission. Volunteer organisations can submit an EOI form via Darren Chester's website.

Completed forms must be submitted by 5pm, Friday September 23, 2022. For grant program details visit Forecast Opportunity View - FOVG22-23 web page.
