Congratulations to Foster Secondary College on winning this year's immunisation consent card competition by achieving a 100 percent return rate for year seven and ten students.
Each year, South Gippsland Shire Council awards a prize to the secondary school that connects the most students with the secondary school immunisation program. Secondary school immunisations help to protect against the Human Papilloma Virus, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis and Meningococcal. Korumburra Secondary College came second this year with an overall return rate of 96%. Special mention to Mary MacKillop Catholic College for increasing their returns from 49% returns last year to 74% this year - a great result under challenging circumstances.
