Garlic lovers' paradise

Follow the heady aroma to Korumburra Showgrounds where more than 70 stalls, including garlic products and growers from around the state, will be on hand to fill you in on the huge array of garlic varieties, how to cook 'em up and even grow your own at home.

Talented food vendors will be serving up garlic-skewered dishes and the best Gippsland beer and wine will be served at the on-site bar. There'll be plenty to keep your crew amused throughout the afternoon with some fantastic live entertainment and loads of kids' activities.

Garlic Festival highlights

There will be cooking demonstrations in the Garlic Festival Kitchen thanks to Chef Alejandro Saravia, (Gippsland Food and Wine Ambassador, and chef/owner of Farmers Daughters and Morena restaurants), along with Jodie Odrowaz and Michael Clark from Messmates Dining in Warragul (which was recently awarded The Age Good Food Guide Regional Restaurant of the Year).

It doesn't stop at the festival gate - businesses on the main drag (Commercial Street) are joining in the celebration with pubs, cafes, breweries and bakeries jumping on board to showcase their own Aussie garlic creations.
