More volunteers and runners are welcome to join Lakes Entrance parkrun
Lakes Entrance parkrun held Saturday 13 August 2022.
The Lakes Entrance parkrun is a free community event held every Saturday from 8am at the rotunda on the Esplanade. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome to participate in the 5km event.

Parkrun follows scenic path
The course is 5000m (5km) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel. The course is at Lakes Entrance Rotunda, Memorial Park, Lakes Entrance. The course is run on a mixture of concrete paths and grass. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Depending on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.
Darren's run in January
Darren had a good parkrun in January. Back then Mr Chester said, "Good to see a bunch of hardy souls (or maybe we were just mad) braving a wet morning at Lakes Entrance parkrun. Huge thanks to the volunteers who make it all happen across Gippsland every Saturday morning at towns across Gippsland and throughout Australia.
"Was the wettest parkrun I've done for a while, but a lot of fun! How did everyone else go, share your parkrun pix in comments. Take care if you're driving around Gippsland today, expect a lot of water across the roads."
"A very wet morning was the scene for our parkrun this morning. I'll put up the photos Sheree took whilst waiting to barcode scan later today. Hope everyone has dried out and warmed up. Huge thanks to the volunteers who make it happen every Saturday." Mr Chester said.
