Gippsland Ports releases process when intending to dispose of vessels

Notice of intent to remove and dispose vessels at Gippsland Ports.

This notice is to advise that under the Port Management (Local Port) Regulations 2015 that Gippsland Ports intends to remove and dispose of the four vessels:

  • Timber Hereshoff 26' "Urchin" unique Identifier BI 207
  • Plywood Trimaran "Tripod" Unique Identifier MZ 830
  • Timber Cruiser "MV Undine" Unique Identifier PU 250
  • 10m Ferro Cement Yacht Unique Identifier BV 689

Gippsland Ports has been unable to contact or locate the owner of these vessels.

All associated costs including court and legal expenses will be recovered from the owner or by sale of the vessels

If the owner of the vessel fails to contact Gippsland Ports within 28 days of the publication of this notice, the process for disposal of the vessel will commence. All associated costs including court and legal expenses will be recovered from the owner or by sale of the vessels.
