The theme for the annual calendar competition is 'My favourite place in Gippsland' with prizes for the best entries. "As we emerge from winter and into spring, the colours of Gippsland come to life and it's a great chance to get out with your camera and capture some of our region's beauty," Mr Chester said.

Mr Chester said, "Every year, we receive some remarkable entries from across the region and the calendar aims to promote Gippsland and encourage locals to explore everything on offer. I'm asking Gippslanders to photograph their favourite place in our region and share it with everyone else."
More than 25,000 free copies of Mr Chester's #lovegippsland calendar will be available across Gippsland at the end of the year. Photographers are also encouraged to upload their photos to social media using the hashtag #lovegippsland.
To enter the #lovegippsland calendar competition, photos must be a minimum size of 4MB to a maximum of 10MB. Entries close at 5pm on Wednesday October 5, 2022. Photos should be landscape orientation as per the calendar's shape. Entrants need to provide their name, hometown and contact details, plus a caption for their photo. Two entries per person.
