Tyers Road, Scrubby Lane and Cross's Road intersection in Traralgon improved with $800,000 from federal Targeted Road Safety Works
Busy Traralgon intersection has been redeveloped to improve safety for pedestrians and motorists.
Local MP Darren Chester said the intersection of Tyers Road, Scrubby Lane and Cross's Road now included turning lanes and visible road markings for drivers. "Ensuring our road infrastructure is safe, especially in busy, high traffic areas such as this intersection is incredibly important and helps save lives," Mr Chester said.

Ensuring easy access and safety
Mr Chester said, "Upgrading the intersection has made it easier for road users to navigate and safely use." The Federal Government provided $800,000 in funding for the project. The funding was allocated through the $97 million Targeted Road Safety Works initiative for Victoria.
