Community Grants and Sponsorship Program for 2022/23 awarded by Latrobe City
Latrobe City Council would like to congratulate the successful applicants from Round One of the 2022/23 Community Grants and Sponsorship Program.
Eighty applicants were successful in receiving funding for their projects with $278,472.79 in Community Grants and $42,500 in Community Sponsorship awarded across seven categories. The Community Grants Program aims to support community initiatives, projects and events that support the local region. They have positive social and economic benefits for the broader community and ensure that community, volunteer and not-for-profit organisations have additional funds to support their projects.

Grants information
Those who didn't have a chance to apply for Round One or were unsuccessful are encouraged to apply for Round Two of the program which opens on 30 January 2023.

Looking forward to the results
Mayor of Latrobe City, Councillor Kellie O'Callaghan congratulated the successful applicants and looked forward to the results this funding would achieve. "Congratulations to all our successful applicants for Round One of the 2022/23 Community Grants and Sponsorship Program. We are proud to deliver over $320,000 in this round of funding that will facilitate eighty fantastic projects for our community."
"This funding supports a wide range of community groups across our region and is a great way for us to recognise the contribution they make to life in Latrobe City," said Cr. O'Callaghan.
