Supporting local sports
Mr Cameron said, "Local footy and netball play such an important part of life in the Latrobe Valley, with many families being involved in their local club in various capacities. I've had a lifelong involvement in football in the Latrobe Valley and know first-hand the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to make sure we can all play the sports we love."
"There are many clubs in need of lighting and clubroom upgrades and this funding will give them an opportunity to complete these upgrades and attract new talents to the club. I encourage all clubs to visit the link below for more information on how to apply for the 2023-23 Football and Netball Program grants," Mr Cameron said.
More information can be found at Country Football and Netball Program website. Applications close on October 9 2023.
