Kilmany access upgrades
As part of the project, the general rubbish unloading bays at the centre will be closed temporarily to allow for maintenance. Alternative unloading areas will be set up to ensure continued service during this period.
In addition, resealing works will be carried out on the access road located to the east of the transfer station. These works may cause occasional disruptions to site access. Council asks all residents visiting the site to dispose of waste to follow the directions of site staff and to exercise patience while these necessary upgrades are completed.
Wellington Shire Council appreciates the community's cooperation and understanding during this time. For further information, please contact Wellington Shire Council's Waste and Sustainability team on 1300 366 244 or the Kilmany Resource Recovery Centre directly on 03 4124 3000.
