Skateboarding takes over
The Rumble Roadshow is a premier skateboarding event series dedicated to showcasing the talent and passion of the skateboarding community. It provides a platform for skaters of all levels to compete, learn, and connect, while celebrating the vibrant culture of skateboarding. The event isn't just a competition, it's a celebration of skateboarding's vibrant spirit. Featuring a mix of professional skaters and local heroes, the events will include:
- High-flying skate jams: Watch in awe as skaters battle it out in local competitions, pushing the limits of what's possible on four wheels
- Interactive workshops: Aspiring skaters of all ages can learn from the pros with hands-on workshops, covering everything from basic techniques to advanced manoeuvres
- Meet your favourite skaters and see them perform live: Rumble Roadshow is committed to fostering a strong skateboarding community, with opportunities for skaters to connect and meet with some of the best skateboarders Australia has to offer
The Rumble Roadshow is brought to Sale in partnership with Wellington Shire Council, The Middle of Everywhere and Pacific Action Sports.
Skate culture showcase
Wellington Shire Council Mayor, Cr Scott Rossetti said we're excited to welcome the Rumble Roadshow to The Middle of Everywhere these school holidays. "Skateboarding is really popular in our region. It's a fun and active way for young people to build confidence, stay healthy, and connect with others and we would love to see more locals give it a go and come along to this free event." Cr Rossetti said.
Donny Fraser of Rumble Roadshow said, "Our goal is to create an unforgettable experience for all that showcases the incredible talent and energy of the skateboarding community in each of the locations this tour visits".
