Opportunity for young people
Mayor of Latrobe City, Councillor Kellie O'Callaghan said the festival is a great opportunity for young people to enjoy seeing a range of local talent in their own backyard. "ZummerFest is free for all ages and abilities to enjoy, and I encourage you to come along with friends or family for a day of entertainment at a fantastic venue."
"It is great to see our younger community members so closely involved with organising such a large event. You do not need to purchase a ticket, however it is recommended that you RSVP to the event via the GPAC website," said the Mayor.
The Collective is a team of young, creative producers aged from 16-25 mentored by the GPAC team. This program is supported by the Victorian government's Department of Families, Fairness and Housing's Engage! 2022-2024 Grants program.
