Baw Baw Shire Council invites not-for-profit groups to apply for Minor Capital Work grants of up to $10,000, supporting inclusive, community-driven infrastructure projects. Expressions of Interest close 30 May.
Baw Baw Shire Council is calling for Expressions of Interest for Minor Capital Work grant applications from not-for-profit community groups or organisations interested in funding to undertake minor capital work projects. Baw Baw Shire's Community Grants Program provides funding to deliver much-needed projects, programs, events, minor capital works and equipment purchases.
Minor Capital Works Grants of up to $10,000 open 5 May 2025, supporting inclusive community upgrades with 25% co-contribution
Funding community projects
Baw Baw Shire Council Mayor Cr Danny Goss said the successful program provided over $300,000 in funding to the community over the past year. "This is an important program council provides to our community, and we encourage community groups to submit an Expression of Interest," Cr Goss said.
The program helps to deliver projects that align with Baw Baw Shire Council's Plan and Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan, and by supporting and partnering with the community to deliver community priorities that improve participation, inclusion and accessibility.
Community project grants
Minor Capital Work funding of up to $10,000 is available to eligible not-for-profit community groups or organisations with an applicant cash contribution of 25% of the total grant amount.
