Kicking off on Friday night
Winterfest will kick off on Friday night with the Art Show's opening party, the show will run all weekend in the Shire Hall, while the ever-popular Arty Bras exhibit will be in full swing at the ArtSpace.
A bumper Mirboo North Market will take place on Saturday morning with all your favourite stalls on deck, but with a wintery twist you're sure to love. Workshops will run throughout the weekend, with something for all ages - kids, teens, adults and all! Join a West African drum and dance workshop, learn to DJ, develop your own beautiful abstract artwork, or take on a session of modern stitching or rebel floristry.
Festival's various activities
On Saturday night, Mirboo North's first ever lantern parade will see the main street closed and transformed into a trail of light from beautiful handmade lanterns made by locals and visitors alike.
Local businesses are offering up special winter-themed drinks, meals, treats and live music to welcome you in from the elements. Meanwhile, over in Baromi Park an eclectic pop-up tipi will act as a hub for the festivities, including live music, fire twirlers, live ice sculpting, food vans and a bar.
