Latrobe City residents ages 16 to 25 are encouraged to be part of a creative panel to develop arts via Valley Collective program
Latrobe City Council is inviting young people to be part of a creative panel to develop arts programs through the Valley Collective program.
Gippsland Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) will guide the program, bringing together up to ten Latrobe City residents aged between 16 to 25 years old. Panel members will have the opportunity to become creative producers, empowered to design and produce a festival with the support of the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre's team. The program will offer exclusive access to industry mentors, opportunities to attend select shows at GPAC and creative workshops.

Opportunities for young people
Mayor of Latrobe City Council, Cr Kellie O'Callaghan encouraged young creatives to apply for the panel. "Latrobe City is home to creatives of all styles - from theatre and dance to cinema and music and everything in between. This is an open invitation to share your ideas, learn from those already in the industry and shape something special."
"We are committed to creating more opportunities for young people to experience leadership. Along with the Youth Council, this is another program that will offer positive outcomes for those who are part of it," said the Mayor.

A monthly digital newsletter will also be available as part of the program, providing dedicated news about Valley Collective events, workshops, access to discounted tickets for select GPAC shows, and engagement opportunities to inform future programming.
