Engagement opportunities

Bass Coast Shire Mayor Cr Michael Whelan said that Engage Bass Coast will become a one-stop-shop for council's online engagement activities. "It will not replace other methods of engagement such as face-to-face sessions, but rather complement them."

"When engagement opportunities become available, they will be listed on the Engage Bass Coast platform, with details about the project and information on how to provide feedback." Cr Whelan said.

Your idea counts

Cr Whelan said, "A fantastic feature of the platform is the timeline, which provides a clear indication of a project's milestones. You can also follow individual projects, to stay informed about any changes or updates or you can elect to be notified about projects that are in a particular area or field of interest."

"Every idea counts and we encourage everyone to use Engage Bass Coast to provide their feedback on any project that interests them. People under the age of 18 will need permission from a parent or guardian to use the site." Cr Whelan said. For more information, or to view current engagement opportunities, visit Engage Bass Coast webpage from Monday, 28 February.
