Downies Bridge replacement in Traralgon South now complete funded through the Bridges Renewal Program
The replacement of Downies Bridge in Traralgon South is now complete.
Local MP Darren Chester said the new concrete bridge would ensure local residents and farmers could safely use the track and crossing. "The old timber bridge was no longer fit for purpose and needed to be upgraded to ensure the safety of road users."

Mr Chester said, "I worked with Latrobe City Council to secure funding through the Bridges Renewal Program. Replacing unsafe bridges keeps road users safe and improves connectivity in our more remote areas."
