Nominations for Bass Coast Business Awards are open until 28 August 2022
Bass Coast Shire Council's Business Awards are back for 2022 - with all local businesses encouraged to get involved.
Nominations for the Awards are now open at the 2022 Bass Coast Business Awards website and close on Sunday, 28 August at 5.00pm. There are six categories for the judged awards, including Access, Equity and Inclusion, Business Innovation, Environmental Sustainability, Leadership, Marketing and Communications and Resilience. The Business of the Year Award will be presented to the highest scoring application across all judged categories.

Business excellence recognition
Bass Coast Mayor, Cr Michael Whelan encouraged all businesses to have a go at entering the awards. "It's been a challenging time for business and these Awards provide an excellent opportunity to reflect on recent achievements."
"The awards provide a great platform for recognition of business excellence and showcase your business to the community. They are also a chance for the council to celebrate the wonderful work of our business community."
The People's Choice Awards provide a great way for the community to support their favourite local businesses. "This category allows customers to vote for the Bass Coast business that they believe provides the best products and services." Cr Whelan said.

Winners of the 2022 Awards will be announced at a presentation event on Friday, 21 October at Silverwater Resort in San Remo. Tickets will be on sale in September.
