Condition assessments on over 400 buildings and structures to be done by Bass Coast Shire Council in October and November 2021
Bass Coast Shire Council to carry out condition assessments on over 400 buildings and structures during October and November.
Council has engaged Knowledge Asset Management to carry out the condition assessments on all buildings on council owned or managed land. Knowledge Asset Management will also complete a comprehensive valuation and develop a maintenance and renewal plan for all Council owned buildings.
Knowledge Asset Management building inspections have begun and are expected to be completed by mid-November
This building condition assessment process will ensure that all Council managed buildings are safe and usable facilities that can continue to accommodate a broad range of community needs and activities.
Building assessment
Over the next six weeks a representative from Knowledge Asset Management will be visiting sites to undertake these inspections. The building inspections have begun and are expected to be completed by mid-November. This work will be completed with minimum disturbance to tenants.
