Netballers now play safely at Tyers Recreation Reserve after upgrade with funding from Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program
Local netballers will enjoy safer court surfaces at Tyers Recreation Reserve with a major upgrade funded by the Federal Government.
Local MP Darren Chester said the court upgrades were part of phase three of the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program in partnership with Latrobe City Council. "The netball courts which are also used for tennis are not safe for players and present risks such as trip hazards," Mr Chester said.

Mr Chester also said, "Upgrading the surface improves safety for users and ensures the courts are of an appropriate standard. This project will support local sport now and into the future and ensure netball and tennis can continue in Tyers for many years to come."
