Community feedback wanted on Planning for children and families by Latrobe City Council by 3 April 2023
Latrobe City engaging with community and service providers to understand early years needs, seeking feedback via survey for Municipal Early Years Plan.
Latrobe City is currently undertaking a broad range of engagements with children, families, community organisations and service providers to more thoroughly understand the current and future early years service and facility needs. In addition to our conversations with our community, we are seeking feedback via the survey to further support the development of our community's Municipal Early Years Plan.
The Community Grants Program reflects public sector values and ensures decisions are impartial, transparent, well-documented, and have appropriate governance

Community members interested in accessing the survey can visit the Municipal Early Years Plan page. Hard copies are also available at Traralgon, Morwell and Moe libraries or via post on request. There will be several opportunities to provide in person feedback, with further details to be provided in coming weeks. Community members will have until Monday 3 April 2023 at 5.00pm to share their feedback.
Mayor of Latrobe City, Councillor Kellie O'Callaghan urged residents to participate in the survey. "This is a great opportunity for our community to share their experience on raising a child in Latrobe City. The survey is open to all members of the community and will be used to gain valuable insight into how children are raised in the municipality."
"The survey only takes about five minutes to complete and will help with the development of the Municipal Early Years Plan which will provide a clear framework to address the opportunities, challenges, aspirations and emerging issues facing local children and their families over the next four years," said the Mayor.
