Baw Baw Shire pop-up program returns bigger in 2023-24, inviting all residents to meet with councillors and staff to discuss community issues
Pop-up program success
Mayor of Baw Baw Shire Cr Annemarie McCabe says "I really enjoy the regular pop-up program. It's a great way of connecting with residents in their own backyards and provides an opportunity for council to travel across the Shire throughout the year. We've found that the markets are a great way to have a casual conversation with our residents and hear their thoughts and ideas for the Baw Baw community."
The market will operate from 8.00am to 12.30pm, and feature stalls from local makers and producers selling a range of plants, homemade baked treats, fresh produce and products amongst other goodies.
During the wet winter months, council's pop-up program will shift to a digital format via Facebook Live events. The public will have the opportunity to ask questions to council regarding specific topics and projects, from the warm comfort of their home. Stay posted for details on events as they are confirmed.
