Deep cleaning completed
The primary close contacts are linked to a tier 1 exposure site out of the municipality. As a precautionary measure, in line with COVID safe practices, deep cleaning of the kindergarten has been completed today. Management has contacted families and staff who access and work at the kindergarten to advise of the negative test results. Classes will resume tomorrow at the kindergarten.
Proactive respose
Council would like to again acknowledge the proactive response by the impacted family. This has allowed council to act on the advice ahead of formal notification, ensuring the safety of our community. We would like to encourage anyone experiencing even the mildest of symptoms to get tested
