Shaping leisure future
Whether you're a regular visitor to one of the facilities or simply someone who wants to see better use of local facilities in the Shire, now is your chance to have a say in shaping their future service. Leisure facilities in Baw Baw Shire include:
- Warragul Leisure Centre
- Bellbird Park Indoor Centre

Deputy Mayor Cr Tricia Jones said the community's input would be vital to ensuring the services continued to meet the needs of residents of all ages and abilities. "Our leisure and aquatic facilities play such an important role in supporting the health, wellbeing and social connection of our community."
"This is a valuable opportunity for the community to let us know what's working well with the current service, what needs improvement and what they'd love to see in the future. Whether you use the facilities weekly or only during summer, your feedback will help shape the services that benefit everyone," said Cr Jones.
Guiding leisure services
Council is committed to delivering a service that meets community expectations, reflects current best practice and complies with relevant legislation - all while remaining accessible, inclusive and welcoming for everyone. "This consultation is about more than just ticking boxes - it's about making sure our services are guided by the people who use them," Cr Jones added.
The survey is open now on Baw Baw Connect, council's online engagement platform, and will close at 5.00pm on Friday 6 June. Have your say, your way - and help make a difference to leisure in your community by visiting Baw Baw Connect website.
