South Gippsland Shire Council update early April 2022 - Reconnect All-ages Festival at Leongatha Recreation Reserve

Amazing musicians, great food trucks and maybe a roving performer or two, Reconnect is an opportunity for music-lovers of all ages to come together and celebrate good times.

We are proud to announce that, alongside The Hills Are Alive! We are hosting the Reconnect All-Ages Festival.The event will be held on Friday 29 April at the Leongatha Recreation Reserve and will feature these amazing artists: the Pierce Brothers, Jack Botts, The Grogans, Matilda Pearl, Janine Gordon and Professional Moose.

With amazing musicians, great food trucks and maybe a roving performer or two, Reconnect is an opportunity for music-lovers of all ages to come together and celebrate good times. As this is an all-ages event, alcohol, drugs and smoking are prohibited.

Event booking

If you would like a lift to the event, buses will be running from:

  • Leongatha
  • Wonthaggi
  • Foster
  • Korumburra
  • Inverloch
  • Mirboo North

It is so easy to book, all you have to do is select that option when you buy your tickets! How easy is that?! Tickets are on sale now.

  • Gates open at 4.30pm and close at 10.00pm
  • Entry is just $10 or $15 for the bus and your ticket

Funding secured for railway precincts

Council has received confirmation that the State Government will support the development of the Leongatha and Korumburra railway precincts with funding allocated under the Regional Infrastructure Fund - Round Two. This $2 million will be added to the $3 million funding already secured from the Commonwealth Government's Building Better Regions Fund and council's $1 million contribution.
