Community feedback wanted on car parking in Traralgon by 20 January 2023
Latrobe City Council is encouraging community members to have their say on car parking in Traralgon's central business district.
A survey is currently open for community members to help identify their current experience in the central business district as it relates to access and car parking. The results will inform a review of future car parking provision which will ensure appropriate spaces are provided with a balance between parking availability and demand.
Community feedback is being sought to review of the car parking utilisation within the Traralgon Activity Centre to identify future parking needs
Have your say
Community members interested in accessing the survey can visit council's 'Have your say' website. Hard copies are also available at Traralgon and Morwell libraries or via post on request. The survey will remain open until Friday 20 January.
Latrobe City Council's Chief Executive Officer Steven Piasente urged residents and visitors to Traralgon to participate in the survey. "This is a great opportunity for our community and visitors to share their parking experiences in Traralgon to help us shape parking supply and demand."
"We understand parking is a hot topic in Traralgon, so this is your chance to have your say and get involved. The survey will be open until January to allow people plenty of time to respond after the Christmas period," said Mr Piasente.
