The Youth Art Prize (YAP) is dedicated to empowering young artists by providing a platform to showcase their work to the region. Launching in October 2025, East Gippsland Shire Council is calling on all young artists aged 12 - 25 to share their vision, talent, and creativity.

More than just a competition, the YAP is a vibrant celebration of youth, connection, and the transformative power of art, while honouring the diversity of artistic voices and the narratives that can be told through creative expression.
Through this initiative, we aim to foster creativity, encourage self-expression, and create a space for young people to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded individuals. Whether through:
