Further improvements planned for newly opened Venus Bay Skate Park and basketball court
Venus Bay Skate Park and half basketball court is now open, with curved banks, quarter pipes, rainbow rail, and seating. Landscaping and car park reconstruction will follow.
The new Venus Bay Skate Park and half basketball court is now open to the public, just in time for Easter and the school holidays. Project managed by council and constructed by Precision Skate Parks, the design features numerous curved bank sections with elements including various sized quarter pipes, rainbow rail, flat bank and concrete seating areas.

Facility upgrades
Temporary fencing is still in place but will be removed after Easter. Landscaping works, a small retaining wall, and footpath installation will also be carried out in the coming weeks.
The adjacent car park is also expected to be reconstructed as part of the Venus Bay Tourism Precinct project, and at this stage the majority of the car park remains open, aside from the loop section. Please note the safety guidelines and signage located in the skate park area. The new facility is located in Jupiter Boulevard Park, Venus Bay.
