Jenny Churchill, Council’s Arts and Leisure Coordinator, explained that people can enter the competition by filling in a nomination form, which are available from any of Council’s customer service centres or www.basscoast.vic.gov.au
"We’re looking for the best Christmas light decorated house or shop in the Shire," said Jenny. "The Christmas fairies will be touring the Shire from the 10th to the 12th of December to judge which is the best lit house or shop."
Prizes include $500 worth of vouchers to help with Christmas festivities.
"Help celebrate Christmas and light up your neighbourhood," said Jenny.
