Bass Coast Shire Council’s 2002-2003 annual information booklet is now available on audiocassette and in large print. Free copies are available at all Council offices.

Cr John Gains, Mayor of Bass Coast Shire Council, said that providing information in alternative formats is part of Council’s Communication Home Delivery Program. The program is aimed at ensuring everyone in the community, regardless of ability, can access information.

"We are endeavoring to ensure people who have difficulty reading, or have vision impairment can still access information about Council and the community," said Cr Gains. "The information booklet contains a wide range of information about services and facilities."

People interested in receiving information in alternative formats can contact Council on (03) 5671 2211 or (03) 5951 3311 or email basscoast@basscoast.vic.gov.au
