Lemon Tree Needed For School ScienceCommercial Rd Primary on the hunt... By Tracey Matthies - 3rd September 2002 - Back to News A Morwell school has a most unusual request. Commercial Rd Primary needs a lemon tree as part of its science studies involving change.
Teacher, Erica Meall, said the tree would become home to caterpillars so that the junior classes could watch them transform into butterflies.
Ideally, the tree should not have been sprayed for at least two or three weeks.
Anyone able to help can telephone Ms Meall at Commercial Rd on 5134 2329 during school hours.
