- To Demonstrate existing resources and skills that use new electronic technologies.
- To Develop new skills and understanding of IT at the grass roots level.
- To enable the formation of new cooperative networks and alliances that will underpin and reinforce development strategies in the local and wider regional community.

Friday 23rd November
9:00am - Expo Opens
9:15am - Official Opening
9:30am - Trade Displays - all day Maffra Memorial Hall
9:45am - Community Hall activities, Demonstrations, Displays and school activities
10:00am - Forum 1 - Maffra Memorial Hall "Dynamic elements in a community" Keynote speaker Allan Tayt Education, Business, Agriculture, Arts, Youth
11:30am - Morning Break - Visit one of the many activities around town
12:00pm - Lunch Commences "Foster Place"
1:00pm - Forum 2 - "Issues facing rural Australia today" Video conference with Peter Ziebel and keynot speaker Peter Coroneous
3:00pm - Afternoon tea
4:00pm - New Initiatives
5:00pm - Day 1 all activities end
