Latrobe City Chief Executive Officer, Richard Hancock, has reminded citizens who have elected to pay their 2001/2002 Municipal Rates other than by instalments, that payment in full must be received by the close of business (5.15pm) this Friday, 15 February 2002. Mr Hancock reminded ratepayers that interest will be applied to any amounts not paid by the due date.
"Ratepayers who have elected to pay by instalments are reminded that the third rate instalment is due and payable by close of business (5.15pm) Thursday, 28 February 2002. Third instalment notices have recently been forwarded to all instalment payers," Mr Hancock said.
"If any ratepayer believes they will be unable to make their payment by the due date, please contact the Revenue Office to discuss your situation. Latrobe City will consider all applications, and may be able to offer alternative payment arrangements," Mr Hancock added.
