Australia is a great sporting country, with interests in every sporting adventure from swimming to snowboarding and all that lies in between. This weekend is no exception.
The Telstra Countrywide 2001 Gippsland ShowJumping Championships are being held this over the weekend break in Sale, Victoria.
Arguably the most crucial event in this years’ national circuit for both riders and showjumping officials, the GBG Concrete World Cup Qualifier is set to be a huge affair.
As the qualifying event for 2002’s Games in Spain the pressure will be immense as the nations best horses and riders battle it out in front of Team Selectors.
As a result, the championships will feature a number of World Cup riders and horses destined for the World Equestrian Games.
The event results including photos and footage will be available on the Internet as soon as they happen. You can catch up on the event’s progress by clicking here.
