‘Celebrating Community Engagement’ is a unique workshop designed to provide an opportunity for people, communities, agencies and government to further develop partnerships and strategies for community engagement. To be held at Lakes Entrance on October 11-12, the conference will open with the launch of a documentary produced specifically for the conference, giving participants the chance to explore six case studies from select community groups from around South Eastern Australia. The conference is hosted by the Institute for Regional Studies at Monash University Gippsland Campus, together with the Gippsland Area Consultative Committee and the Department of Human Services.
