Motherhood The Musical Comes To Performing Arts CentreFrom the producers of the smash-hit Menopause The Musical® comes the equally hilarious, musical journey about the lives and friendships of four very different mums sharing their humorous insights into the By Latrobe City - 24th November 2011 - Back to News challenges of motherhood.
Sue Fabisch’s Motherhood The Musical will be performed at the Latrobe Performing Arts Centre in Traralgon on Tuesday 22 November at 8pm.
The show features Barb, an over-worked, underpaid, stressed-out mother of five; Brooke, the lawyer, who works too much and barely sees her kids; Trisha, a single mum struggling to balance work, her family and her divorce and finally Amy, the naive young woman about to have her first child.
Latrobe City’s coordinator performing arts and venues, Kathleen Roberts, said that having received rave reviews overseas, this musical featured 20 sensational songs, lots of laughs and some tears.
"You'll love this joyous musical journey as it takes a loving and funny look at the blessings and the perils of being a mum. This is all about laughing and crying, craziness and calm, smiles and tears, all wrapped up into 90 minutes of great musical entertainment. For anyone who is, has, or knows a mum, they must come to see this show," Ms Roberts said.
Tickets for Sue Fabisch’s Motherhood The Musical are available from the Box Office on 5176 3559. The performance, on Tuesday 22 November at the Latrobe Performing Arts Centre, starts at 8pm and the Latrobe Performing Arts bar will be open from 7pm.
