Micro & Home Based Business Network Grows

October's Business Planning Seminar is just around the corner...

By Gail Robertson - 8th October 2002 - Back to News

Since it’s inaugural meeting on the 29 August 2002, the Micro and Home Based Business Network (MHBBN) has gone from strength to strength. In two short months the network membership is up to 70 businesses. This truly identifies how great the need was for such a network. Networking is a great way to make new contacts and generate referrals for your business. Networking gives you access to other business operators who may lead you to cheaper suppliers, better couriers or have ideas that you can apply in your own business to improve what you are doing.

A recent Marketing Seminar was well attended by Latrobe City businesses and many of them were MHBBN members. Much was learnt at this excellent seminar. If you were not there - why?

Well, not to worry. We are having a Business Planning Seminar, which will be conducted on Monday 28th October. Everyone is invited to attend and reap the benefits of these free events. If you are not a member, you can easily join. Once you are a member and on the network’s database you will be automatically contacted with all relevant details and up coming free events and/or seminars.

Wouldn’t you like to know how everyone else is doing out there? If you have a Micro (5 employees or less) or Home Based Business and would like to keep informed of what’s happening in your area, join the network now. Call Gail on 5167 1144 or click here to e-mail.
