The architects of the Principal Library Project and the Wonthaggi Town Hall redevelopment will facilitate the workshop, which will take place at the Hall.
Cr Gains said that the workshop is to explore the physical improvements needed to increase the usage of the Town Hall while recognising the Hall’s heritage value.
"The workshop will be another opportunity for people to put forward their views about the future use of the Wonthaggi Town Hall and surrounds," said Cr John Gains, Mayor of Bass Coast Shire Council. "The findings of a survey conducted late last year about the future of the Town Hall will also be discussed at the workshop." Cr Gains said that Council had received much feedback from the survey as well as letters to Council about the future of the Town Hall.
