2011 Australia Day Award Winners:
Caroline Talbot – Citizen of the Year
Noel West – Sportsperson of the Year
Bruce and Sheila Campbell – Family Achievement Award
Why: Twelve residents from around the Shire will take part in the Citizenship Ceremony. The residents are based in Wonthaggi, Rhyll, Cape Woolamai, Cape Paterson, Coronet Bay, Inverloch and Wimbledon Heights.
