‘Reverie’ is the title of the next exhibition to open at the Gippsland Campus Switchback Gallery on Tuesday, May 16 at 5pm. Prior to the opening at 4pm, there will be a talk by the curator, Kirrily Hammond. The exhibition is drawn from the Monash University Collection and includes works by Lynne Boyd, Peter Graham, Siri Hayes, Louise Hearman, Rosslynd Piggott and Ronnie Van Hout. The exhibition will run until June 22.
• Making the Grade Thirty students taking part in the Co-operative Education Program will be travelling to Clayton Campus this week for their first compulsory training workshop. The workshop will cover resume writing, interview skills and career planning. The Co-operative Education Program combines practical work experience with local businesses and full time study. • Open Subject ‘Wildfire’ a Monash Gippsland club for rural students will be organising activities and events for Indigenous National Reconciliation Week, Monday, May 15 to Friday, May 19.
‘Romantic Highlights and Harmonies’ is the theme for the Gippsland Campus free lunchtime concert on Wednesday, May 17. Students of the Piano Ensemble will be performing Liszt and Brahms on classical piano. The concert is held in the Hexagon at 1.10pm. All welcome.
