There is now additional drainage to better cope with heavy rains, 250 metres of damaged kerb has been replaced and the road has been re-sealed between Toorak and Lavington Street. The works began in February this year and Council’s Infrastructure Director, "Cashin Street is a busy road providing access to a number of off-shoot streets in a highly populated area of Inverloch," Mr Piasente said. "Because of the scale of the job, there were some traffic delays along the way and I would like to thank motorists and residents for their patience." Works are also expected to start on another well-used road in Inverloch in the coming weeks. "The drainage will be upgraded and the road re-sealed," Mr Piasente said. "Again, we ask motorists to be patient during this process as there will be some traffic delays. "We anticipate the works to be complete by this Christmas."
