The Great Wopit Event

arc Yinnar will be hosting the Great Wopit Event starting Sunday 14th November at 1.30pm. The Wopit will be a huge metal, musical sculpture to be installed in Gallery arc, Main Street Yinnar.
The Wopit is a collaborative piece using recycled metal and constructed by participants from our blacksmithing workshops under the guidance of local sculptor Anthea Williams and blacksmith Bruce Beamish.
The Great Wopit Event will be an interactive musical afternoon with a percussion focus where visitors, adults and children alike, are encouraged to make sounds and noises (musical or otherwise) on the Wopit.
Local school groups are most welcome and should contact the office on 5163 1310 between 12pm-4pm weekdays to arrange a time to visit. The opening afternoon will involve local musicians and the newly formed Yinnar Youth Music Group with Ray Negro and arc would also invite any other musicians to be part of the Event in a jam session.
The Wopit exhibition will be on display and available for 'woping' good fun between 14th November and 6th December.
arc is open weekdays between 12pm and 4pm and on Saturday between 11am and 3pm.
This will be a fun experience for all involved.
